General Information
1. All the team managers must submit the original entry forms, team photographs with school
principal, proof of age (CBSE Registration card/Online print, Aadhar Card & School ID Card) of the
players and school flag immediately on arrival at Registration Desk.
2. It is mandatory for all the teams to take part in the Opening Ceremony at 4:00 PM on 12th
November.
3. Closing Ceremony at 4:00 PM on 17th November Evening .
4. Team manager of each team will be responsible for the discipline & conduct of his team. Any
damage to school property will be recovered from the concerned team. The team
manager will be responsible for the return of bedding.
5. No participant, Coach / Manager will be permitted to go out of school without prior permission
of the principal of the host school.
6. It is mandatory for every player to wear School I- card.
7. Each participant must have his / her individual kit with a uniform dress code.
8. Always switch off the electric gadgets, keep your baggage locked while leaving the room.
9. Meals will be provided in College Hostel Mess.
Please adhere to the following meal timings:
1. Tea : 06:00 – 06:30 am.
2. Breakfast : 07:00 to 08:00 am .
3. Lunch : 12: 30 to 2: 00 pm.
4. Evening Tea : 5:00 pm. to 6:00 pm.
5. Dinner : 8:00 to 9:30 pm.

Attendance: Only one official from each participating School team will attend the meeting.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEAM MANAGERS
Team Managers must attend the „Managers meeting which will be held in Board Room
(Admin Block) at 6 PM on 12th November , 2017.
Team Managers will be responsible for late arrival or not reporting at the venue on time.
Only team players will be allowed in KHO – KHO court during their matches.
Coaches will be responsible for any damage to property at the place of stay.
Team managers have to submit the details of the participating team players on 12th
November 2017 before the meeting commences.
Strict norms regarding the discipline, code of conduct, behaviour of the teams – on and off
the ground, boarding and lodging etc are applicable. Any violation of the norms will lead to
disqualification of team as per CBSE norms.
Lodging arrangement has been made in hostel rooms
Meal arrangements will be provided in the hostel mess on payment basis (Refer to Form A).
Canteen is available within the college campus.
Any damage to the organizing school property will be the direct liability of
the coaches /Team Managers of that School.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COACHES
“Good sportsmanship is viewed as a measure of the understanding and commitment to
fair play, ethical behaviour and integrity.”
Set a positive example for players and spectators at all times.
Accept your responsibilities as a coach by always showing respect for your game/sport.
Show respect for the official's judgment and their interpretation of the rules.
Accept both victory and defeat with pride and compassion, never be boastful or bitter.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTICIPANTS
•Use appropriate language.
•Exercise self –control at all the times.
•Respect the official‟s judgment and interpretation of the rules.
•Accept the responsibilities and privilege of representing your school by
acting in the manner that will create a positive attitude.
•Participants must keep their respective areas clean.
FINAL CONFIRMATION
Hard copies Final ofconfirmation forms have to be submitted
on arrival at the Reception Desk.
If confirmation forms are not submitted on the given time,
team will not be allowed to participate in the next day match.

GOLDEN RULES OF DISCIPLINE
Maintain self discipline during the event.
Kindly co-operate with the Organizing Committee.
Follow the queue whenever required.
Proof of identification has to be produced to the officials on demand.
Do not litter the surroundings.
Use dustbins.
Do not pluck flowers.
Keep the toilets clean.
Water is precious, do not waste it.
Do not damage any equipment and property.
CERTIFICATES
The certificates of merit will be provided by the CBSE to the first,
second and third position winners. However, participation certificates
will be awarded to all those who actually take part in their respective
events.
No participation certificate shall be given to that Participant who does
not participate after reporting.

KHO KHO
(BOYS & GIRLS)
1. The rules as adopted by the Kho Kho Federation of India apply unless otherwise
modified in these rules.
2. All the matches at Cluster level will be played on Knockout basis. In case the
numbers of teams reporting are 8 or less than 8, the tournament may be conducted
on league cum knock out basis.
3. From each Cluster, only first position winning team will qualify to participate in
the CBSE National Championship.
4. All the matches at National level shall be played on league cum knock out basis.
5. At National level: All the teams reporting may be divided into different pools in
such a way that by and large no pool is of less than four teams. From each pool, the
two teams emerging on top will qualify to play the knock-out stage matches.
6. In matches played on league basis, “points for minus the total points against” shall
decide the tie. Should the tie still persist; it shall be decided by “spin of coin”.
7. A team shall consist of a maximum number of twelve players.
8. The school Organizing Cluster level competition shall take a Group Photo of the
teams that have qualified to participate at National level competition. The photo shall
be signed by the host school Principal and forwarded to the school organizing next
level of competition along with the original entry Performa.
