Life in the Valley: The Christian’s Peculiar Perspective on

The Psalmist writ es, "Though I walk through the valley of the s

evil. For You are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me." For

trite religious expression. B ut for those who have walked the dark r

that they are not alone. However, psalm 23 does present a problem.

the valley ? Should we not be atop the mountain peaks? Shouldn't we

best?

Starting March 4th Pastor Brandon will be looking at the topic of suf

Jesus, James and Job, be tackling some of the toughest questions

now? H ow do I cope? W ho is to blame? We will see in the end that t

radically unique from any other perspective this world has to offer

suffering with all the realism and hope that the Bible offers. But, mo

of the one who came to us and suffered on our account.

Maybe you know someone who has suffered? Maybe you are in the v

suffering at the moment but would like preparation to face the storm

I encourage you to make ever y eff ort to be fait hful in attendance. M

church that suffer s rightly.

Pastor Br andon
