Stitch square/rectangle units and press toward the rectangle. Join these units together as shown, clipping the center of the seam and press toward the rectangle. Place Cat's Cradle Tool on wrong side of unit, lining up "Place on Seam Line" markings. Draw a line to mark two sewing lines. (Drawn line MUST intersect the stitching line corner.) Stitch on both lines, using the 1/4" seam allowance guide to cut 1/4" from the sewn lines. Press units open. Use the appropriate sized square and the dashed diagonal line as a guide to square your pieced units. Trim. Rotate the block and use the Tool again to square up the opposing side. Two Cat's Cradle units are created with each set of squares and rectangles.
