With an event so large, I must recognize some people, although by no means all of them, who spent up to two days in immediate preparation and hours and hours in proximate preparation for the Fall Festival. Nicholas Napolitano, Audra Starrett and Barry Waite, Matt Morgan and the Knights of Columbus Council 893 who provided the BINGO and children's activities, Justin Castanza and many others who lent a helping hand throughout the day. Nearly 600 people attended and helped at the Fall Festival this year. The event this year
focused more on family activities and by all accounts accomplished the goal of bringing the
parish together on a cold but beautiful day. With an event so large, I must recognize some people,
although by no means all of them, who spent up to two days in immediate preparation and hours
and hours in proximate preparation for the Fall Festival.

GOD’S LOVE IS OVERFLOWING AND FILLS EACH ONE OF US. Father Nicholas teaches “Theology of the Body” every 3rd Wednesday of the month to the Senior Youth group at the FLC Youth Room.
The St. Vincent de Paul St. Bede Chapter is no longer active due to the retirement of leadership and low membership. The Poor Box proceeds will go to support the St. Bede Food Pantry which is a
direct aid to the poor and bus passes, gasoline cards for the poor and needy.

1. Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must
make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized.
3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation).
4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married.
5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come.
6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.
7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass.

GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP.
St. Bede, in partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach, is exploring the possibility of a parish mission trip to Guatemala in the summer of 2018. There will be an interest meeting SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 at 11:15AM in the PARISH HALL. There will be a representative from Cross Catholic to explain the process and answer any questions.
