Inspiring Hope - Thank you!
Last weekend we received over $50,000 in new pledges to the Inspiring Hope Campaign! This brings our total to over $300,000 from nearly 150 donors. Thank you to all who have given so gener-ously to help with the renovations of our beautiful and functional Mother Church in Boston.

Por favor, haga los arreglos apropiados de estaciona-miento o utilice las opciones de transporte público disponibles para visitar la Catedral de la Santa Cruz en el futuro. MASS CARDS AND SPIRITUAL BOUQUETS Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to request a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the de-ceased person or for the intentions of the living. The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which we re-member the person enrolled at Mass offered every week for both living and deceased.
CARING FOR YOUR SOUL A group dedicated to mutual support and encourage-ment drawing on prayer and spirituality as positive resources in the struggle with emotional health is-sues, in our own lives and the lives of those we love.

Meetings take place the on the first Thursday of the month from 10:00 am - 11:30 am in ROSA HALL (lower level of the church) Entrance on Union Park Street. Accessible Silver Line L4 or L5 and Next meeting AUGUST 1
No one should feel alone in their struggle with any physical or emotional illness. Sharing each other’s stories can be liberating and welcome break in the silence that often surrounds emotional illness. This is the place to speak out and be heard in a safe confidential, and non-judgmental environment, where isolation and stigma dissipate as supportive community is created.

THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2019 | 7:00 P.M. Jeune Choeur d’Ile de France (Youth Choir of Great-er Paris) Francis Bardot, Director. Francis Bardot directed the Children’s Choirs of the Paris Opera for twenty-three years. He also served for ten years as the Choirmaster of the Cathedral of Chartres. Ad-mission is free | Donations gratefully accepted to benefit the Jeune Choeur d’Ile de France and the Ca-thedral Organ Restoration Fund
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH | 3PM Leo Abbott, Director Emeritus will rededicate the
organ in concert. This concert will also celebrate the
Titular Feast of the Cathedral, The Exaltation of the
Holy Cross.
RETURN OF THE PIPE ORGAN! Many have asked when we will hear the Cathe-
dral’s beautiful historic E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings
pipe organ. Built in 1875 it is rare to have such a
gem still tonally intact. During the renovation, the
entire instrument was covered and protected from
construction dust. About half of its 5,318 pipes were
removed and stored off-site. These are now in the
process of being reinstalled. Some mechanical ad-
justments are being made in the mean time. All the
pipes will be re-tuned and regulated in coming
weeks. Hopefully, this magnificent instrument will
be playing July.
REGINA CAELI ACADEMY 2019-2020 Come join our exciting mission to form the next generation of Catholics! Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) provides a classical, hybrid education in the Catholic tradition. Pre K3- 12th grade students attend Socratic, hands-on classes taught by trained tutors two days a week and home-school on the remaining days. Regina Caeli supports the home portion of the week through a complete 5 day directed program, making homeschooling possi-ble for any family. Classes begin August 26th, 2019. PARKING AT THE CATHEDRAL Parking for Cathedral parishioners and volunteers is available on-street and in the paid parking lots (parking information is available here). Additional-ly, the Cathedral is on the MBTA SL4 and SL5 Sil-ver Line busses at the Union Park Street stop and is a short walk from Back Bay Station on the Commut-er Rail and Orange Line.
The rectory parking lot directly behind the Cathe-dral can only be used by residents of the rectory going forward. Cars not belonging to rectory resi-dents may have to be removed and towed. Please make appropriate parking arrangements or use the available public transportation options to visit the Cathedral of the Holy Cross going forward.
