  • TOP WOOD VARNISH DESCRIPTION It is especially satin gloss and matt transparent alkyd urethane

    wood stain which can be applied over new wood substrates or old painted wooden surfaces. It has very good water repellency and can be used for interior and exterior wooden surfaces.

  • WASH PRIMER {2 PACK ETCH PRIMER}

    DESCRIPTION A fast drying protective coating based on Polyvinyl Butyral resin/Zinc Chromate pigment/Phosphoric acid, which combines pretreatment and priming in one application, for non-ferrous metals to ensure good adhesion of subsequent coats.

    RECOMMENDED USE Aluminum cladding, Galvanized surfaces, Brass etc.

    APPLICATION DATA Numix Cleaner is a very good general purpose cleaner, it is suitable for cleaning and degreasing bare metals, existing finishes primer surfacer, etc. Application Technique:

    Unsanded existing finishes: 1- Wash the vehicles with detergent and warm water to remove water soluble contaminants. 2- Wash down repaired area with Numix Cleaner to remove any other contaminants. 3- With clean towel dry off the cleaner before evaporation to ensure contaminants removal.

    Sanded existing finishes: Apply step 1 & 2 more than once a time after sanding and prior to topcoating.

    Untreated plastic substrates: Apply steps 1 - 3 in the same manner, when cleaning unpainted plastic parts allow drying out for 20 - 30 minutes after application of cleaner and prior to primer application.

    Bare metal, steel, zinc coated steel and aluminum substrates must be degreased as follows: 1. Wash down the metal with the cleaner. 2. With clean towel dry off the cleaner before evaporation taking into consideration to use one

    fresh towel for washing down and another one for wiping dry and replacing towels regularly.

  • NUMIX RETARDANT THINNER DESCRIPTION Slow thinner of special composition which can be used in conjunction

    with various thinners or pure at high temperatures and/or when large vehicles are to be painted, to keep 1K/2K product film longer open to give better overspray met-in and better flow, certainly at high temperature. It will not affect the gloss level.

    RECOMMENDED USE At high temperatures (above 25C) and when large vehicles are to be painted.

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION Colors Transparent Flash Point 94C

    APPLICATION DATA Mixing Ratio by Volume: At high temperatures (above 25C) and when large vehicles are to be painted, it is recommended to add 10 -30 % by volume of Numix Retardant Thinner to the thinner specified for the product concerned at higher temperatures (204 Thinner Slow or 206 Extra Slow, for example). Next add this mix to the product, using the mixing ratio specified in its technical data sheet. This will have a positive effect on its spray and flow characteristics and overspray will be avoided. At temperatures above 40C, Numix Retardant Thinner can also be used pure. In this case, add Numix Retardant Thinner to the product as specified in its technical data sheet, using it as a substitute for the thinner originally recommended.   • NUMIX SPOT REPAIR THINNER DESCRIPTION Numix Spot Repair Thinner is a clear transparent blending additive

    thinner that contains acrylic resin and special blend of solvent to allow easier application of Numix Base Coat Spot Repair. It is ready to use where it can be used as foundation for fade out area or used as additive with basecoat colors, solids or metallic, before application of fade out area. Can be applicable over Numix Top Coat 2K and Numix Clear Coat 2K.

    RECOMMENDED USE As a clear foundation coat for fade out areas.

    APPLICATION DATA

    Application Methods: The application method and mixing ratio are depending on the specific use of the product, where the user can select the appropriate method as follows:

    1- As a clear foundation to improve the blending of base coat in the spot repair area. Apply 1 single coat of Numix Spot Repair Thinner over the blending area where high gloss and shining coat must be obtained, allow 3 - 5 minutes flash off @ (20C) before spot area with Numix Base Coat 1K taking into consideration that base coat must stay within the coated area spot repair thinner. Note: clear coat must be applied over the spot repair area.

    2- Numix Spot Repair Thinner as additive to base coat before blending and fading out. Mix: 100 parts by volume base coat.

    50 parts by volume Numix Thinner fast or slow. Apply the mixture until full coverage over the primer area; allow 2 - 3 minutes flash-off time between coats. Then mix base coat color 100 parts, with 100 parts by volume of Numix Spot Repair Thinner, spray 1 - 2 single coats extending beyond the spot repair area with gradual fading out. Allow 15 - 20 minutes @ 20C finally apply a Numix Clear Coat.

    Thinning None, the product comes ready to use.

    chip resistance, and U.V. protection in Numix Top Coat 2K products, it mixes easily and does not affect dry or cure times.

    RECOMMENDED USE To improve the flexibility of Numix Top Coat 2K and Numix Clear Coat 2K and over a wide variety of semi-rigid and flexible plastic parts.
