IntroductionsInsert your subtitle here
In 2017 we set out with a goal to develop, design and create a modular, eco-friendly house that is affordable to the vast majority of people and can be erected within approximately 24hrs and help combat our carbon foot print on our planet.
Within a period of 6 months we have costed, researched and developed prototype bricks, scaled models and conducted stress analysis and viability of concept. We have also received positive and constructive feedback from industry leaders regarding our idea which has led us to refine, and design all the necessary components for our first life size prototype.

Production Process
Loading MaterialThe plastic beads are dumped into the lower
hopper of the spring loader and are transported to the extruder.
ExtrutsionThe melted plastic is compressed by conical
twin screws and as a result gets extruded out of the opening of the extruder.
MouldingThe extruded mass is then forced
through a mould and a series of shapers to create the
desired panel profile.
Sorting & packagingThe final product is sorted and packaged as “complete house” kits.
CuttingThe extruded mass is cut into specific lengths.
Dimensional analysis and optimizationThe dimensions of the extruded profile are checked and input variables are changed if necessary.

Overview
Our Low cost Eco housing community schemes are aimed at creating sustainable communities where everyone can have access to clean water, electricity and the internet. Our community scheme seeks to improve the standard of living dramatically at a fraction of the cost with schools, hospitals and a
small shopping area.

Community Schemes
Community Schemes
Our community schemes are aimed at well-funded NGO’s, governments and developers.
We aim to create self-sustainable communities through the use of technology and our affordable housing. Users will have access to internet, electricity via Omnipressor tech and solar panels. The Omnipressor tech will allow sewage to be converted to electricity and provide clean drinking water.
Part of the community schemeHousing blocks constituting of 1700 houses each. In the center of the blocks there will be a school, a shopping center, clinic and a recreational facility that the community has access to.
Even though our houses can be erected by anyone, we will train locals in the
community to become certified installers, thus creating jobs, and ensuring that the project timelines are met. This will allow families to start moving in within a month of each project inception and start benefiting from the communities facilities.
We will manage each project to ensure that everything is done to a high standard and that each community scheme project is completed within a month (from inception).
Each house will be fully equipped with plumbing, electrical services, solar geysers and access to internet.
We will implement a water purification system for isolated communities ensuring that they have clean drinking water that is easily and readily available. The community scheme is perfect for the development of
rural areas. The technology that we use for our community scheme can also be used for other projects.
The technology can be used for farm buildings, isolated construction sites, mining lodging and student accommodation.
Our material and design techniques allow us to build two story buildings, thus ensuring adaptability when creating and designing a community scheme for a developer, government or NGO.

Concerns About Recyclability

Scenario 1
A major earthquake occurs, resulting in an extensive number of people without adequate housing and in need of medical facilities. Governments can air drop houses for millions of people using their military aircraft as well as deliver them by road.
Since the modular design eradicates the need for specialized installers, NGO’s could recruit volunteers to assemble the houses. Within a period of a week enough adequate housing could be erected for refugees at a very low cost. The houses can be disassembled and reused elsewhere once the area has recovered from the disaster.
1 2
The modular design will also allow Medical facilities to be
erected in under hours in order to allow doctors to operate and
treat the injured with very low risk of infection. (even in the
winter).
The modular brick is hollow which makes it a great thermal insulator
and allows for services such as piping and wiring to be installed
within the bricks.
Thus you could have mobile transportable hospitals and clinics that can respond to disaster areas
effectively and efficiently.

OVERVIEWWe intend on developing a low cost eco housing solution, that is completely modular in design and requires no skilled labor force to construct.
PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITYThere is a housing shortage worldwide. With the ever increasing population and low income wages, almost half of the worlds’ population is deprived of adequate housing facilities. Therefore, there is a need to develop low cost, affordable housing solutions, that can easily be erected. The market research we have conducted illustrates that approximately 4 billion people can benefit from this type of housing development.
SOLUTION/PRODUCT We have come up with a viable solution to provide low cost houses that are eco-friendly, sustainable and cost effective. The modular design allows for quick installation, (within 24 hours), thus greatly reducing current standard building times and eradicates the need for specialized labour. The plastic materials we intend to use are 100% recycled, thus enabling us to solve two world problems simultaneously. Because of the quick construction time the building scheme can help with relief organisations, military forward operating bases (FOB) and the erection of adequate relief facilities in disaster areas.
POTENTIAL RETURN We intend on creating a financial model with a 30% profit margin (can be changed on order quantities) on each 4 300 USD house. Because our solution will appeal to a vast majority of people and organizations such as third world governments, Big NGOs, the UN and 4 billion people on the planet, we expect a huge demand. We expect to grow by 50% in the first 6 months of business and by 130% in the first year, as operations expand.

Executive SummaryIndustry Housing & Sustainable Development
Company Registration No. 2017/410181/07
Development stage Start-up
COMPETITIONThere are many modular/low cost housing companies in existence, but their solutions require specialized installers, are too expensive and don’t have a fully modular design. Our competitors ‘build’ time is between a week to 3 months. In addition, the houses are usually not fully equipped and/or don’t use sustainable materials.
EXECUTION PLAN/GO TO MARKET STRATEGY Once the prototype has been developed, we intend on selling our product/design to consumers as well as public organizations. On our website we intend on having a charity page where people may ‘buy a house’ for someone. We intend on partnering up with NGO’s and government organizations. By May/June 2018, the first prototype will be ready for viewing and we intend on rolling out our finished design by 2019. The initial design/specification phase is completed. We are now focused on development of the actual housing scheme. We are partnering with producers and manufactures to assist with this process and produce what is needed for our current design. We intend on using social media to promote our product and company. In the future we intend on making our design more slipstream and easy to build and eliminate any design flaws and improve on already existing designs.
FINANCIALSFor us to complete our full project and development plans we require one year of funding to the amount of 220 000 USD. We have already invested 5500USD into the idea and business. This money will allow us to purchase the necessary land and equipment to complete the project. Once we have expended all resources, we intend on being self-sustainable and profitable. The monthly burn rate is approximately 6600USD which will cover business expenses such as the purchasing of equipment, water and electricity, office rent and any other costs that occur for the project such as new equipment and consulting costs.

The SAFEA Safe is essentially an agreement that is similar to a
warrant that entitles investors to shares in the company at a future date.
Key reasons why we are using a SAFEThe agreement is simple which is attractive to the
founders and investors alike.
The agreement doesn’t require specific valuations or share prices as those can be decided at a later date
once the company gains more revenue.
It can include special deals and discounts to early investors.SAFE doesn’t involve debts or maturity dates which can also
be an attractive asset to investors.
SAFE documentsWe are willing to use other SAFE documents provided by ycombinator or any other legal
documents that are provided, that are beneficial to the investor and the founders.
