Duct tape is so much a part of what wemusicians do on the road—plus there arealready lots of pretty guitars on the marketthat are very expensive, but aren't really"players." But this is a real, rugged, solid guitarthat's also unique. Each guitar is individuallywrapped, so every one is going to have its own'fingerprint.' You're not going to find anotherguitar like it. And on top of all that, it's just aneasy playing, versatile guitar that you can geta bunch of great sounds out of. I really amstoked with how this has all turned out."
- Noodles
Why a baritone? Because it goes to 11. Withthe baritone guitar's higher neck tension,I can tune down low and play with heavierstrings and not have them feel like rubberbands. With a regular guitar, tuning down canbecome a real nightmare with the guitar goingin and out of tune. But with my signature guitar,I can bite into it and play aggressively."

It took many years to create guitars that could satisfythe Master of Tone—but the results have been worth it.Joe Satriani's signature guitars aren't simply a tribute tothe man who has kept the torch burning for instrumentalrock, they're the perfect vehicle for an artist who canput as much intensity into a whole note as he doeswith a light speed phrase.
The debut of the Steve Vai's JEM in 1987 and the introductionof his Universe 7-string changed everything. It's impossiblethink of any one person who has done more for the evolution of Ibanez guitars than Steve Vai.

Key Features (AF/AS)
- AF models are true full hollow bodieswith standard jazz bracing.

Most of the time, Ibanez is known for being "anything but traditional."But when it comes to our full hollow jazz guitars, we are strictly traditional.Which is why our AF full hollow jazz guitars are truly full hollow: you won’tfind the soundblocks you find in many so-called "full hollow" guitars.
On the other hand, our AS models are designed for jazz and then some.So you will find maple soundblocks, fitted precisely into the tops and backsof AS guitars, to reduce feedback and increase sustain.
Based on the AS200AV, the longest running model inour history, the John Scofield signature models is awell deserved tribute to the man whose artistry whomade the AS200AV famous. The JSM100VT has allthe features John loved in his old AS200 and all thenew features he wished it had.

Loaded with a singlePFR-AL alnico magnet pickup and the newPHAT II active bass boost, SRX400 bassesprove that ridiculously loud and great tonearen't mutually exclusive terms.

With theBTB's extra long neck scale, the tension is nice and tight—there's no flopping in the low end and the high strings ringout and sustain better. For 2003 we've added the even moreaffordable BTB300 for players who prefer the size, feel andtension of a standard 34" scale neck.
BTB basses aretraditional in style, but they aboundwith high techfeatures such asNeutrik® lockingjacks and IbanezMono Rail bridges.

Why is the newest name in amps the fast growing name in amps?Because Ibanez recognized that the world didn't need another amp dedicatedto recreating the sounds of yester year. Instead we came with amps spec'edand voiced for today's tones. Obviously, we did something right, becauseplayers and retailers kept telling us they wanted more—and they wantedbigger. For 2003, after endless hours of R&D and testing, here is more andbigger: the new Ibanez 100 watt stack and combo amplifiers.
Our 100 watt Tone Blasters aren't for players looking for something that imitateswhat's already out there—old or new. Ibanez amps have their own soundcharacter. They're designed for players who want a powerful amp with raw, edgy and aggressive tones—and doesn't sound like anything or anyone else.
Tone Blaster cabinets feature closed backs for tight low end. The 4 x 12 cabsare divided into two separate compartments of two 12's each so there's nosound compromise caused by standing waves. Tone Blaster speakers weredesigned to have the tight bottom end of the classic British 12's, but with moretreble response (especially useful for players who use a lot of distortion).

on the outside, Tone-Lok effects are equipped with ourexclusive "set and forget" Push-Lok rotary pots. Push theknobs down and your tone settings lock securely insidethe case. No more lost settings or knobs broken by club-footed club owners staggering about the stage.
On the inside, Tone-Lok pedals feature hi-fidelity componentscarefully tweaked with the constant input from a new genera-tion of Ibanez players. And all this great stuff comes encasedin cool looking, road tough metal boxes at prices theworking player can afford.
DS7 DistortionThe most versatile Ibanez distortionpedal ever, the DS7 is capableof producing a wide range ofsmooth, dynamic overdrive tones. From a subtle tonal nudge towalloping rock n roll crunch, theDS7 delivers days of sustain andgobs of gain.
SM7 SmashboxThe Smashbox is the most aggres-sive weapon in the Tone-Lok dis-tortion arsenal. Armed with obsceneamounts of gain, tight low end,and searing highs, the Smashboxis THE heavy rock sound for thecontemporary guitarist.
TS7 TubescreamerThe Tubescreamer isn't just astompbox, it's an institution. Ourlatest generation Tubescreamer, the TS7, is no exception. With theTubescreamer’s classic subtle-but-smooth overdrive, the TS7expands the expressiveness ofyour guitar while maintaining itstonal integrity. Tone adjustmentsare provided by the classic threeknob configuration with an added"hot" switch for an extra gain boost.
FZ7 FuzzFar out! A complete 60's flashbackwith none of the drawbacks, theFZ7 is the ultimate in psychedelicfuzz. With the FZ7's tone, drive, and level controls, it's never beeneasier to get the right retro tones. You can even engage the DAMAGEswitch for that ratty, brokenspeaker sound. Yeah, baby, yeah!!Dial in, tune up, drop down orwhatever turns you on.
PD7 Phat-HedWhy let guitarists rule the stage? Loadedwith growling low-end distortion, the PD7levels the playing field for the rock bassist. The PD7 is armed with three pre-amp stylevoicings and an attack control switch, which accents the amount of harmoniccontent in your sound. With DRIVE, LO, HI,and LEVEL knobs, dialing in a thunderousbass sound has never been easier.
LF7 Lo FiThe first dedicated filter pedal for theguitar, the LF7's voltage controlled analoghigh and low pass filters allow you toemulate transistor radio and megaphonetype sounds. Best used at the end of asignal chain in combination with otherpedals, this ticking time bomb createswide soundscapes of far out tones thatpreviously required a massive rack ofanalog electronics. The Lo Fi also performsequally well with vocals, drum machinesor in any "mix-down" context.
DE7 Stereo Delay/EchoAdd new dimensions to your sound withthe DE7 Delay/Echo pedal. Get the best ofboth worlds: high tech digital soundscomparable to expensive rack units orwarm vintage tape echo sounds–all witha simple flick of the switch. TIME, REPEATand LEVEL controls help you dial in justthe right amount of delay, while stereooutputs can be used for a more spacioussound. With a range of 30ms to 2.6 sec-onds, the DE7 is the only sound solutionfor every playing situation.
PH7 PhaserDesigned to emulate the effect of a rotatingspeaker, the PH7 has a switchable phasecircuit capable of either four or eightstages of smooth phasing. With thesetwo very different tonal modes, you cango from a subtle shimmer to all out 70's"Let’s Get Funky" phasing.
CF7 Stereo Chorus/FlangerThe CF7 creates shimmering sound-scapes, whooshing jet plane sounds, andcontemporary "Korny" chirps and blurbs. The schizo "KRAZY" switch lets the CF7 bea conservative Dr. Jekyll with the "NORMAL"mode (classic chorus and flanger). Or youcan turn the pedal into the proverbial Mr.Hyde...the "WHACK'D" mode imitates thecontemporary modulation sounds used bytoday’s phattest rock bands. It’s like gettingtwo pedals in one.
PM7 Phase ModulatorIf you've gone through one phase afteranother, maybe it's time for the finalphase. The PM7 Phase Modulator offersthree types of waveforms to give youeverything from classic phaser to DJeffects to toy ray gun sounds. Since goodthings come in threes, the PM7 also hasthree phase stages: vintage, deep and dry,and deep and pronounced. With someminor tweaking, the PM7 goes from tradi-tional to 21st century and beyond.
SB7 Synthesizer Bass If you're looking for new tones or you'restill smoldering with resentment againstsynth bass keyboard players who tookour gigs in the 80's, the SB7 is the ticket. You've got real time feel—in other wordsno annoying tracking errors and delays. You can even play chords.
AW7 Autowah There are autowahs. And there areautowahs. But the Tone-Lok AW7 isn'tjust any autowah. It's got standard wahwhere both the highs and lows are cutand it's got a wah setting where the onlythe highs are cut. And it's got distortion.A notch filter provides the sound of astandard wah pedal left at one setting(a favorite wah pedal technique of JoeSatriani). You can even change the chainorder of the effects to get different tones:either distortion to wah or wah to distortion.
The TS9 reissue features the samecareful hand wiring and analog circuitryas the original classic. Like almost allof the original TS9's, our reissue featuresthe 75557 IC chip. The TS9DX Turbo TubeScreamer features the slightly warmer 4558IC found in most of the old TS808 TubeScreamers and also offers three newsettings for increased low end crunch:+, Hot, and Turbo.
"Lok’ed and Loaded! With their tough metal cases and retracting controls, these sonically brutal Ibanez Tone-Lok pedals can take as much punishment as they dish out."
