Since 1973 the company CMP has been manufac-turing inspecting machines for the Pharmaceutical and
Veterinary Industry and in 1982 it was the FIRST COM-PANY IN THE WORLD to introduce in the market the fully
automatic laser ray inspecting machine equipped with cam-eras for ampoules vision (EEC patent N. 84.200090.3).
In the last years, thanks to its constant research and de-velopment, CMP introduced new lighting devices with high-efficiency LED lights and inspection systems by digital cameras.
The company has focused its core business in the 360° inspection of pharmaceutical and veterinary products in ampoules, cartridges, pre-filled syringes, bags and lyophilized products.

In the course of time, specific controls for some types of product have been introduced (closure, shape, height, leak test, head-space).
A complete range of machines enables CMP to propose Customers high quality and practical products with No.2 type of movements: INTER-MITTENT and CONTINUOS MOTION.
All CMP units are equipped with CFR21 part. 11 compliant software and supplied with IQ-OQ-PQ validation documents according to GAMP regulations.

Ampoules and Vials Inspection
Our automatic inspection machines, thanks to an inspecting system equipped with digital cameras, are able to analize the images in order to detect the presence of contaminating particles and/or defects of the container.
The CMP Inspection machine can automatically inspect:

Fully automatic CMP Leak test machine suitable to detect pinholes or little cracks in the body and top of ampoules, vials, syringes (glass, plastic or BFS) using the HVLD (High Voltage Leak Detection) technology. This inspection is based on the high voltage test method and the electrical conductivity of the fill product packaged in a non-conductive glass/plastic container: if any leak is present, the discharge current will flow through the pinhole into the container and the detection of this current will automatically cause the container to be rejected.This non-destructive method is apt to automatically check the 100% of the production to identify pinholes which could be hardly detected by other inspection methods.

Semi-automatic inspecting machine model SV1 suitable for ampoules, vials and cartridges with production output of 100 pcs/hour (mechanicalspeed). With a dedicated version, this unit can also inspect pre-filled syringes. The machine is suitable to check both liquid and lyophilized (freeze-dried) products: the operator examines the product by looking at the pictures in a high quality monitor. The machine could be equipped with cameras for the automatic control of the ring-nut and flip-off (vials) and tip (ampoule). Furthermore it is possible to insert an appropriate automatic station for the laser head-space inspection of lyophilized products.

The computerized optical desk mod. CMP1/E is equipped with evolved functions which allow to use the device easily and effectively. The unit could be used for a laboratory check of ampoules, vials, cartridges and syringes and to analyze the different types of foreign particles and their visibility.It is composed by a rotating inspecting unit and a touch screen panel PC using the same technology applied to the inspection machines.The lights could placed at the bottom or back of the container according to the product to be inspected.
