CONTENT ENRICHMENT

Perfect Commerce provides data enrichment services, which may involve sourcing

content from various sources. Alongside web research, we do manual sourcing in order

to collect all possible critical product information. Completely attributed data along with

digital images, contact information, and PDF documents are sourced.

Perfect Commerce can perform data enrichment by employing any or all the below

Data enrichment by sourcing manufacturer websites

Data enrichment by "manual sourcing" i.e. by contacting suppliers for additional

data

Data enrichment by collecting additional data by "plant walk-downs"

PHYSICAL “PLANT WALK-DOWNS”

Perfect Commerce professionals are specialized in onsite sourcing of parts information

tagging and photography. This activity is known as “Plant Walk -down” or “Crib-

crawling”. The information is sourced from various sources within the plant like Stores,

Item Master, Purchase orders/requisitions, Codification rules, Tags, Nameplates

Catalogs, etc. Additionally, the items are physically assessed and measured to gather

technical data.

CONTENT CLASSIFICATION

Content Classification is a crucial part of enrichment process. Perfect Commerce

provides content classification services to classify Suppliers content specific to its buyers

needs. Classification is generally based on industry standard schemas such as SIC or

UNSPSC and their various versions.



CONTENT QUALITY ASSURANCE AND MAINTENANCE

Perfect Commerce provides third party quality assurance and support services to

manage and maintain several "buy side" and "supplier side" data quality activities

to manage their Product Information Management (PIM), Content Management (CM)

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supplier Relationship Management(SRM) software. Offshore support and data quality assurance activities within these

COMPLIANCE DATA SERVICES

Perfect Commerce offers RoHS and REACH data collection services. These services

greatly benefit Electronic Manufacturers doing business in EU region. RoHS (Regulationof Hazardous Substances) directive issued by EU enlists several substances whose

composition in the components and devices needs to be regulated and declared by

Manufacturers. Perfect Commerce’s engineers perform a complete compliance

assessment of each individual product family, specific component or Bill of Materials

(BOM). A comprehensive data collection exercise is undertaken to source the required

compliance data directly from the suppliers and manufacturers. A “Material Comp liance

Document” is provided listing compliance status of each product family and component

parts.
