Located in the spectacular foothills of Gredos, is one of the most important Celtic sites throughout the peninsula.
His more than fifteen hectares are protected by a wall of about two thousand feet long, with towers and moats reinforcement.
It was inhabited, from the third century and I to C., for a large population-over 1,500 people-and in it we know that sheltered housing, beliefs and rituals that professed and way of life of the vettones who created this oppidum, after the devastating raid Hannibal in these lands, and remained there until they were forced to abandon Caesar.
