GARDEN LANDSCAPING PROJECT DUBLIN Back Garden Design & Build in Castleknock Completed Garden Design and Landscaping project for a house in Castlelnock, Co. Dublin. This garden had a mix of deck and badly laid sandstone paving and some raised planters and walls. All of the existing decking was rotton and a hazard to walk on. Walls were in bad shape with just a roll out willow matting covering the block- work. Our clients brief was to create an entirely new flat garden which would be child friendly and with more useable space for sitting out or entertaining with friends and family. The garden boundaries needed dressing and a new shed and a covered outdoor clothes drying area were required. The garden design sees two curved patio areas, one main area for general use and the second as an evening sun trap. Both patios have a contemporary hardwood bench built on a rendered wall. The patios are consructed with a 600x600 yellow granite flags with imperial granite setts as a border. Pressure Treated Shiplap cladding was used to clad the walls and was erected at different heights as per our clients instructions. To maximise the play space available the planting beds are kept as narrow strips along the boundaries with a generous lawn. A new shed with clothes drying unit was designed in conjunction with Boyne Garden Sheds and fits in along the side of the house very well. Due to the inclement weather at the moment the painting of the walls and cladding will have to wait until spring- time. Another very pleased property owner can now enjoy their new garden which is designed and installed to the highest standards. Page 1 of 4
