SPANNING AUSTRALIA AND INTERNATIONAL RIO TINTO OFFICE’S, RUTLEDGE AV’S AMX TOUCH PANEL DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED TO FORM A STANDARD OF AUDIO VISUAL AND CONFERENCING CONTROL.

Rio Tinto occupies levels 1-2, 4 and 10-27 inclusive of the 123 Albert St development. The base building design rating is on track to achieve a 6 Star Green Star rating, the highest possible rating and signifies world leadership in environmentally sustainable design and construction. Rutledge AV was contracted by Laing O’Rourke to provide audio visual systems, installation, commissioning and after sales support for Rio Tinto at the 123 Albert St development.

Rio Tinto required a state-of-the art digital signage and broadcast solution. This innovative technology was led by Rio Tinto’s internal communications team with the ability to access all levels of the building, could be site selective or could display different content to different levels of the building.

Level 27 incorporates a broadcast system where company addresses can be viewed from anywhere in the world via video conference. At the time of completion, this was Australia’s single largest roll out of AMX digital signage, of this scope with a fit out of audio visual equipment covering over fifty rooms.

The scope of works as designed by Innova-Tech included digital signage and display systems, level 27 global streaming/broadcast functionality, audio visual systems within 50 presentation / video conferencing rooms, room management system, IPTV, interactive/electronic whiteboards and interfaces to building systems, lighting and blinds.
