The plant has a production capacity of 250 000 cars per year, which means that a car rolls off the finishing line every 80 seconds. For a start, the new Ford Fiesta was produced here. Installation: The planning office Zarcos Engenharia specified AF/Armaflex for insulating the chilled-water pipes of the air- conditioning system and the paint shop. A total of 11 000 m of AF/Armaflex tubes were used. The galvanized steel pipes with outer diameters of 12, 14, 16 and 18 mm were insulated by the contractors Servtec, Durr and Temp Set. Before work began the insulators were trained by Armacell employees in the correct installation of Armaflex.
