The belt pulley attachment is driven by the PTO and is mounted on the PTO - Hydraulic housing as follows:
1. Remove the PTO adapter guard and the shaft tubular guard before installation of the belt pulley.
2. Install the belt pulley engaging the PTO shaft. The breather on the belt pulley must be in the up position. Reinstall the four nuts and tighten securely, Figure 37.
3. Check the lubricant in the belt pulley. Refer to Lubrication Chart.

1. Loosen and remove the four nuts; remove belt pulley.
2. Reinstall the PTO adapter guard and shaft tubular guard. Reinstall the four nuts and tighten securely, Figure 36.
ALWAYS REMOVE THE BELT PULLEY ATTACHMENT FROM TRACTOR WHEN PULLEY IS NOT IN USE.
The following important precautions must be observed: DUAL FRONT AXLES - Steering Gear Support Ring Figure 48,
must be installed with five (5) 5/8" x 3-3/4" bolts with lockwashers and one 5/8" x 3-1/2" bolt with lockwasher - in front hole to avoid damage to steering valve. Torque 150 - 165 ft. lbs. Use four (4) 5/8" x 2" bolts to bolt spindles together. Torque 150 - 165 ft. lbs.
ADJUSTABLE FRONT AXLE - When changing over to Adjustable Front Axles - Steering Gear Support Ring, Figure 48~ must be removed and six (6) 5/8" x 2-1/4" bolts installed. Torque 150-165 ft. lbs. to hold steering torque lTIotor in place. Use four (4) 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolts from steering arm to spindle. Torque 150 - 165 ft. lbs. NOTE DO NOT SUBSTITUTE BOLT LENGTH AS SERIOUS DAMAGE COULD RESULT.

REAR WHEEL TREAD SPACINGS
Manual Shift Rear Wheels 1. The tires and rims can be n10ved in and out on the wheels to 4
tread positions. 2. The wheels or hubs can be slid in and out on the axles. 3. The wheels can be n10unted on the axles so the "dish" is either
toward the tractor (in) or away from the tractor (out).
Powr Shift Rear Wheels 1. Using the h'actors own power, tires and rims can be moved in or
out on the wheels. 2. The wheels can be slid in and out on the axles. 3. By mounting the wheels on the axle in the "dish out" position the
The liquid fuel filter, Figure 75, catches and retains in its settling bowl all the solid particles coming through with the liquid fuel. This filter works until it becomes clogged up sufficiently to restrict the flow of fuel. A sure indication of a clogged filter is frost forming on the outside of the filter body.

When the filter cartridge becomes clogged, it should bereplaced. To do this, shut off the fuel at the tank. Remove the filter body bolt Figure 76, and take off the body section of the filter. Install a new genuine Case element and new gaskets.
Should the liquid fuel line between the tank and the fuel regulator become clogged at any point other than the filter, frost will form on the line at the point where the obstruction occurs. Should frost appear on any portion of the fuel regulator, it is an indication of insufficient coolant circulation.
NOTE The appearance of frost at any point in the fuel system when the engine is not running is an indication of leakage and should be corrected immediately.
CAt/TION WHEN FILLING THE TANK, CHECKING THE LIQUID LEVEL IN
THE TANK OR WHEN CLEANING THE LIQUID FILTER, BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO COME INTO PROLONGED CONTACT WITH THE LIQUID SPRAY. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE LIQUID SPRAY IS EXTREMELY LOW AND COULD CAUSE FROST-BITE IF IT DIRECTLY CONTACTED BARE HANDS, ARMS OR OTHER PARTS OF THE HUMAN BODY.
