The Women’s Center of Tarrant County wanted a new age-appropriate video to teach children about sexual abuse in a language they could easily understand. The Play it Safe!™ program is a child sexual and physical abuse curriculum presented annually to over 70,000 children ages 4-18.The program includes age-appropriate videos for preschool through high school. It also consists of training for adults, caregivers and professionals.

Timbuktoons worked on the visual development and animation production for the first grade video. In it, Grandpa and Mae teach children how to recognize abuse, respond by getting to safety, and to tell a trusted adult.

Orbie for Orphans wanted to use animation to show orphans and foster children that they are special.

Orbie for Orphans wanted a pilot episode for their animated curriculum in development that’s designed for the specific needs of orphans worldwide. Timbuktoons worked with Orbie for Orphans to develop the series (story, character design, art direction) and produce the short.
