SUBJECT: Professional Consultant Services for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport Building Projects Contract #Z1224902P1 Exhibit 8 Approvals

Dear Mr. Cartaya,

This letter memorializes the approval of all Exhibit Bs going forward for all Work Authorizations under Contract #Z1224902P1 .

The Contract #Z1224902P1 was approved by the Broward County Board of Commissioners on June 2, 2015 with Exhibit Bs based on the prime and sub-consultant's 2013 FAR's and/or waivers. Per the contract and after the contract was executed, Cartaya and Associates Architects then submitted the subconsultant's 2014 FAR's and/or waivers for County Auditor's review and approval. At the same time, Cartaya and Associates Architects was provided additional time to submit their 2014 FAR Audit in which was finally forwarded to the County Auditor for review and approval.

A Sunshine Meeting was held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in which all Exhibit Bs were discussed and approvals were provided.

Furthermore, per the attached letter dated October 21, 2015 from Cartaya and Associates Architects, P.A. and letter dated September 21 , 2015 from RS&H (sub-consultant) , a "Typographical Error" was identified in RS&H's Exhibit B under the executed contract. The errors occurred within (5) five different job "Titles" that were duplicated. Instead, the job "Titles" should have been consecutive Engineer and Arch itect positions. As mentioned in the attached letters, these "Titles" match previous contracts/agreements RS&H has had with the Broward County Aviation Department and are not new job "Titles". Thus, RS&H's Exhibit B based on the 2013 FAR is being replaced and does not affect the Overhead, Fringe, Profit and Multiplier.

The following chart demonstrates the differences between the 2013 vs. 2014 Exhibits Bs submitted by the prime and sub-consultants. The highlighted values denote the approved Exhibit Bs in accordance with the County Auditor's requirements.
