How can I prepare?

• High School Classes– Math: algebra & geometry– Communications Skills: written & oral

communication classes– Shop/Tech Ed: woods, metals,

construction classes– Just taking the course isn’t good

enough, a C or better is needed.

Apprenticeship Requirements

• Entrance Test (Accuplacer or TABE)*• ‘C’ of better in algebra**• High School Transcripts or GED• Driver’s License (or means to get to

work)

*Test is not required for Concrete Finishing, Heavy Equipment, & Roofing.

**Algebra is only required for Electronic Systems Technician and Electrical
