done virtually through online transactions. Using computer networks, we can buy or sell products, this being the foundation for e-commerce. Everything is available at a mere click of the finger. It has culminated all the aspects of marketing, selling and providing information at a single platform. It is accessible by one and all.
Business Models of E-Commerce
There are mainly three types of business models of E-Commerce:
B2B- Business to Business (B2B) E Commerce refers to the commercial transaction between two companies. A company might need the raw materials from other company. Here B2B business comes to use.
B2C- The online transaction which takes place between the consumers and companies is known as business to consumer (B2C) E Commerce. It is conducted directly from the company end to the consumers.
C2C- C2C E commerce is the modern version of the transactions from one consumer to another with the comfort of being at home.
