Career Tech Student PopulationsCTE Concentrators: Secondary students who completed half of a CTE Workforce Development (WFD) Program and enrolled for additional credit within the same program
– Course based; not student cohort– Students are concentrators before they complete a program– Students must be funded in an aligned workforce development course in the
year concentrator status is reported
Perkins V: Concentrators after completing 2 courses in a pathway.

New FY19 Student Program CodesWork-based learning by hours of completion; collection includes staff ID
Work-based learning experiences are conducted at a work site during or after school. They are designed to provide authentic learning experiences to students that link academic, technical and professional skills. Business and education partners work together to evaluate and supervise the experience, which must be documented with training or learning plans and evaluation forms.
1) Must be co-supervised by an employer and a teacher2) Must have a learning agreement in place based on technical competencies3) Must occur on a job site (not at school, etc.)
