Funding for such work is guaranteed, and each summer about 150 students take advantage of this opportunity. With financial support from work-study programs, grants, and fellowships, students pursue a wide variety of summer employment assignments with courts, government agencies, and public interest organizations around the country. International fellowship and internship programs support students working in a variety of human rights organizations and governmental and non-governmental agencies around the world. PUBLIC SERVICE CAREERS Students come to us to pursue careers dedicated entirely to public interest or to explore ways in which they can incorporate public interest work into their careers. CP&P has two counselors dedicated to supporting students who seek government or public interest employment. We also offer programs and career counseling dedicated to the public sector job search, including networking opportunities with public sector lawyers and intensive fellowship application support.
