• It’s a process of knowing yourself and how the society functions, and then build a bridge between these two, where you can realize your pursuit as well as contribute to the world.

Purpose:• To improve students’ vocational awareness, explore their interests and help them plan and prepare for the future occupation. It’s widely acknowledged that students in USA should receive this kind of education as soon as possible, particularly in primary

school.

Standards for career

planningAmerican School Counselor Association(ASCA) produced national standard, which attachs importance to career development equally as the development of individual personality.

• Students get a good understanding of techniques for career options, and make informed decisions.• Students employ skills to achieve vocational success and satisfaction.• Students realize the correlation between individual personality, education&training, and working environment.
