Kennari Consulting & US Customs & Border Protection representatives will be providing resume reviews on Thursday, October 1, between 11 am and 3 pm. This is your chance to get valuable feedback from experts in your field, including tips on formatting, content, and how to translate your course work into experience that employers will value. It’s also a great opportunity to polish your resume and practice interacting with employers before the GVSU Fall Virtual Career & Internship Fair on October 15.
How to participate:
1. Register for the event in Handshake: https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/18194/student_preview2. Click "View Sessions," browse employers and sign up for at least 1 resume review session.3. Upload your resume to Handshake (documents) and mark it as public so the professional can review it
beforehand.4. On the day of the event, click "Launch Video" to start your session.

OCTOBER 1-2Interactive, hands-on sessions where attendees will build career materials, practice introductions and interviews, learn how to dress for success, and map out a career fair strategy.
OCTOBER 5-14Professional development workshops and panel presentations addressing current and pressing topics related to workplace and graduate/professional school issues.
OCTOBER 5-14Information sessions designed for attendees to engage with employers and industry professionals to learn more about career pathways, industries, and specific companies
OCTOBER 15The virtual career and internship fair allows employers and students to meet in virtual environments to discuss and explore opportunities in all academic areas and industries. We will be working with Career Fair Plus to host this fair. Please download the Career Fair Plus app in preparation.
