Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

The partnership between Cardiostim and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) goes from strength to strength and we have responded to the requests from members and industry for there to be a European conference annually in our specialist field. The collaboration between the Scientific Program Committees of each other’s congress, which dates back to 2009, in developing innovative programs has shown that the two congresses can exist as separate entities whilst still targeting the common goal of providing education, information, guidance and networking opportunities to the large European and international electrophysiology community. The success of both Cardiostim and EHRA Europace over the last four years has encouraged us to build on this relationship and to work even closer together in the coming years to bring electrophysiology, the treatment of patients with cardiac diseases, cardiac techniques and life-threatening or symptomatic arrhythmia to the forefront. The reader will find in this announcement the list of topics to be discussed during the congress in 2014; it shows a really comprehensive coverage of our field.
