David Zussman is the Jarislowsky Chair in Public SectorManagement. Holding a PhD in psychology from McGillUniversity, he has been teaching public management at theUniversity of Ottawa for several years and served as theDean of the School of Management from 1988 to 1992.Throughout his career, he held several positions related topublic affairs. In recent years, he has been President of thePublic Policy Forum and he served as Executive VicePresident and COO of EKOS Research Associates Inc, a
leading public opinion and public policy research firm. In the public sector, he was AssistantSecretary to the Cabinet for Program Review and Machinery of Government in the Privy Council. Hewas also asked by Jean Chrétien to help in the transition of his newly elected government in 1993and 1997. He also currently serves as a part-time Commissioner of the Public Service Commissionand writes a monthly column for the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.
