L’ARTICOLO può essere:
INDETERMINATIVO (a/an), quandonon specifica, ma indica un nomein generale (a computer = un computertra tanti).Si usa an davanti a un nome che iniziacon vocale o con h muta.
Osserva l’alfabeto inglese: a, e, i, o, usono vocali.
Si usa a davanti a un nome che inizia conconsonante.
Osserva l’alfabeto inglese e togli levocali: tutte le altre lettere sonoconsonanti.
DETERMINATIVO (the) quando specificae indica un oggetto o una personain particolare (the computer in my room =il computer della mia stanza, non unotra tanti).

Il PLURALE è REGOLARE quando si formaseguendo un modello.

Plurale dei sostantivi (nomi)
Il SOSTANTIVO (o NOME) indica unapersona, un luogo, una cosa concreta(tavolo) o non concreta (gioia) di cui siparla. I nomi possono essere al singolare(una cosa) o al plurale (più cose).

Posizione degli aggettivi
L’AGGETTIVO è una parola che dà piùinformazioni al nome (sostantivo),lo descrive.

Il POSSESSIVO ’s indica un POSSESSO,cioè qualcosa che quella persona HA.

Whose (di chi) si usa per chiedere di chi èqualcosa.
Imperativo
L’IMPERATIVO è una forma verbale che siusa per dare ordini (Open the door) oppureper vietare qualcosa (cioè ordinare di nonfare qualcosa; Don’t open the door).

La DEFINIZIONE è una frase che spiegaqualcosa.
La FUNZIONE dice a che cosa servequalcosa. Che funzione ha? = a che cosa serve?
La FORMA BASE di un verbo inglesecorrisponde alla forma dell’infinito senza lapreposizione ‘to’ davanti.
to live = infinito live = forma base

Present simple – Variazione Ortografica
Una VARIAZIONE ORTOGRAFICA è ilcambiamento di una o più lettereall’interno di una parola. Le lettere sipossono aggiungere, togliere o si possonocambiare.

Sono esempi di variazioni ortografiche. Nelprimo caso non si aggiunge solo la ‘s’, maanche la ‘e’; nel secondo caso si aggiunge‘es’ e la ‘y’ diventa ‘i’.
L’AVVERBIO serve a specificare ilsignificato di un verbo (indica come vienefatta un’azione: es. camminare ➝camminare piano) o di un aggettivo (rendel’aggettivo più preciso: es. alto ➝ moltoalto).
La FREQUENZA indica quanto spesso si faun’azione.

Le PREPOSIZIONI sono piccole paroleusate per collegare due elementi (parti) diuna frase.
