The state strategic target by 2020 is to limit the carbon emissionunder 9.5-10.4 billion tons . A reduction of 6.9-7.8 billion tons isneeded.
It is expected that, after the
strong smart gridconstruction is completed in2020, A carbon emissionreduction of 738 million tonswill be done in the businessarea of SGCC, which is 9%
11% of the carbonreduction target and 24.2%of the carbon reductionpotential of power industry.
