LTD ("CWC"), located at 4, Lorong Low Koon. While, the Canossian Sisters in Singapore are already providing conventional nursing and palliative care of the sick, the aged and the terminally ill (viz. at St. Joseph's Home and Villa Francis), CWC provides alternative, complementary, secondary health care in the form of traditional therapies such as physical therapy, acupressure and modern electro-medical therapies/devices such as the L.I.F.E. System, the Frequency Generator, Biocell, MultiCom, Pyro-Energen, Medec, AcuGraph, SKIII (Cerebral Injury), etc. The Germination of CWC The work of today's CWC was initially carried out informally by Sr Jane Chong for a number of years. She felt the call of a vocation towards healing within her Religious vocation and has devoted her time and energies to learning natural, alternative therapies for healing. The number of clients Sr. Jane served grew steadily and as such this new ministry with the help of many volunteers and donors was conceived formally. Sr. Jane now has a Graduate Diploma in Natural Science from the Youngson Institute of Natural Science and the Australian Register of Natural Therapists. She is alsos trained in Acupressure and Bio-resonance Therapies. Sr Jane was also guided by and received much support from Justin Moraais [PhD Ah Mes] as she worked with him in his clinic at the Sports Acupuncture Center. Sr Jane is also knowledgeable and skilled in other forms of magnetic and natural therapies. CWC now runs on a simple policy of needs and the thrust is therapy for healing.. The Birth of CWC CWC was incorporated on 2 March 2012 as a private company limited by shares but is decidedly non- commercial. Presently, CWC has 3 therapists supported by a total of 7 therapy assistants (1 full-time and 6 part-time) and 4 administrative staff (1 full-time and 3 part-time).The Center is also assisted by volunteers who assist in helping the clients with the different electro-medical therapies for healing. When CWC officially opened its doors on 2nd March 2012, it had 200 registered clients. As at 2nd March 2013, CWC had a total of 598 registered clients. The tiny mustard seed has indeed grown.
