Gradients should utilize a vibrant color from the

artwork/photography. It’s selection depends upon the

surrounding artwork and gradient as well if there is

more than one image present with a similar gradient or

color scheme. For example, sections 05 and 06 in the

“Microsite Reference” have artwork that is predominantly

blue. Because section 06 has more colors to choose

from, a vibrant green is selected.

A gridded, square layout (see Print Ad Reference) is the

primary style when using gradients and photography.

The use of triangles to connect various sections is

depends on the relationship of the pieces. If they are

related, as in the “Productivity” section of the microsite

(see Microsite Reference), the use of triangles to help

connect the sections and improve the flow of the layout

is recommended.

All gradients move from the selected color at the top to

100% black at the bottom.
