Camfil Farr Solution System - Introduction

The Camfil Farr Solution system (CFSS) is a powerful platform to use for various calculations concerning Air filters and IAQ. Access to the platform and the software applications can be requested via the Internet/Intranet, see the “First time use of CFSS” document. Once the access rights have been approved You can login the to “Central station” : https://cfss.camfilfarr.net/cfss to run the CFSS setup.

At the central station you can also find manuals, user guides and other complimentary information about CFSS. When the CFSS has been successfully installed you can use the software applications you have been granted access to.

Depending on your access rights (provided by the application owner) you can access different software provided and powered by Camfil Farr R&D

1) LCC (EU/ASIA/US)

This software can be used for calculating the Life Cycle Cost for Comfort filter applications. Life time, energy consumption and the total operating cost of the filter installation is calculated. Additional information such as CO2 emissions and efficiency of the filter system is also provided. You may compare up to three different filter installations instantly and compare the results in a new graphical interface. You may also simulate a real filter installation by using various filter sizes in a filter housings. The LCC is available in three versions for the regions ASIA, Europe and America (US)

5) LCC - POWER This software can be used for calculating the Life Cycle cost for gas turbine applications. Life time, energy

consumption and the total operating cost of the filter installation is calculated. A selection of turbines and data is provided to help the user to make realistic assumptions. Additional information such as CO2 emissions and efficiency of the filter system is also provided. You may compare up to three different filter installations instantly and compare the results in a new graphical interface. You may also simulate a real filter installation by using various filter sizes in a filter housings.

3) CAT (Comfort Air filter Test reports)

With the CAT you can get efficiency, classification data, pressure drop and construction information for the real operating airflow. This software is currently using the EN779 test data on many of Camfil Farr comfort filters. This easy to use application is a very helpful tool to service users with basic filter performance information.

4) CPE The CPE is an easy to use application to get initial data such as pressure drop VS airflow, filter face velocity

etc. The chart component provides basic drawing and layout functions for presentation.

4) Clean

This unique software application can help the designer of a clean room to estimate the cleanliness class in clean rooms or in other spaces (offices, etc.) using Camfil Farr filters. Depending on the number of people, the activity in the room, the ventilation system and the filter selection the clean room class is calculated. This is a very quick and accurate tool for the clean room designer to make the first estimation on what filter selection is needed. Comparison up to three different solutions can be obtained with just a few inputs.

2) HPE (Hi PErformance air filters)

3) This software replaces the EN1822 software. The HPE gives you the ability to get real efficiencies, pressure drops and construction data for various HEPA and ULPA filters manufactured by Camfil Farr. You may compare up to three different solutions in the new report structure. You may use the software to find the best solutions based on filter sizes and efficiency requirements.

6) CREO

The CREO (Clean Room and Energy Optimisation) application enable you to use the Camfil knowledge to create your own clean room application. This software can be used for calculating the Life Cycle Cost and cleanliness class for Clean process applications. Life time, energy consumption and the total operating cost of the filter installation is calculated. Various of Clean room configurations can be analysed ranging from ventilating to Laminar flow installations. A wide range of reports are available to serve the user, including Clean room classification, LCC reports, summary, as well as specifications of selected products. Additional information such as CO2 emissions and efficiency of the filter system is also provided.

1) CLD

This application can be used for calculating the performance of molecular products. A wide selection of gasses can be selected and performance of for different types of adsorbents materials and filter products can be made.

AMC (Airborne Molecular Contamination) This unique application can help the designer of a clean room to estimate the cleanliness class of

molecular contaminants in clean rooms or in other spaces (offices, etc.) using Camfil Farr filters. Depending on gases, the activity in the room, the ventilation system and the filter selection the cleanliness level is calculated. This is sophisticated application to be used by the true experts in the AMC field.
