Extreme Close UpVery close shot of the subject

Close UpFairly close shot of the subject

Medium shotShot of the subject, usually waist up

Wide shotShows the subject and what is happening around them.

Long ShotFar away shot of the subject

Extreme Long ShotVery far away shot of the subject

Establishing ShotSets the scene by showing the location or scenario

High AngleShows the subject by looking down on them

Low angle shotLooks up at the subject.

Point of view (POV)This is took from the point of view of the subject.

Two shotThis shows two characters in shot.

Over the shoulder shotThis shot is took behind the subject over the shoulder.

Insert shotThis shows a close up of an object.

Canted angle shotThis shot is where the camera is tilted

Cutaway

Shows the subject, then to what they are viewing.

Birds eye viewThis shot is taken from above.

Eye levelThis is a shot of the subjects eyes.

Aerial shot This take from above but not facing the ground.
