Frank Boulton was born on Long Island and moved to the Bay Shore/Brightwaters area at the age of three. He graduated in 1969 from Bay Shore High School where he was an outstanding student-athlete. He graduated from Villanova University in the class of 1973 with a BS in Finance. In 1975, Frank married Karen Sarle and moved into their home in Brightwaters where they reside today. They are the proud parents of Whitney and Morgan.
Following graduation, Frank started a twenty-five year career on Wall Street in the U.S. Treasury and MBS bond industry. He retired from Smith Barney in 1994 as Senior Managing Director of the Government Bond Department. He returned to Wall Street in 1996 to serve as the Senior Executive Vice President in charge of the Fixed Income Department for Yamaichi America and served in this capacity until 1999.
Frank is in his 13th season as founder and CEO of the Long Island Ducks, Baseball America’s 2007 Organization of the Year. Frank has also owned three other farm teams, two affiliated with the New York Yankees and the other with the Kansas City Royals. He has also owned the Long Island Rough Riders professional soccer team, 2002 D3 National Champions.
Driven by a sense of gratitude, hard work, and dedication, Frank has been involved with many local charities. Frank served as Chairman of the Great South Bay YMCA Board of Managers from 1983 to 1992. He was a Great South Bay YMCA board member for 27 years. Frank also chaired the capital campaign that raised $6.2 million dollars to construct the YMCA. In 1992, the Board of Managers named the gymnasium in his honor.
Frank and Karen Boulton purchased the old Regent Theatre and then donated it to the Great South Bay YMCA. The Boulton Center for the Performing Arts recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and is a point of pride in the downtown Bay Shore community.
In January of 2005, Frank was named one of Long Island’s 100 most influential people by the Long Island Business News. Presently, he serves as chairman of the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ducks, and is a member of the Board of Direc-tors at Empire National Bank. Peter KirkChairman
ODP chairman Peter Kirk loves to tell about the origins of his baseball ownership philosophies. Stories about a chance encounter with Walt Disney. About the day he was sitting in an old ballpark and began to ponder the idea of building a new facili-ty-one which considered fan amenities first.
With Peter, customer service-from the moment fans purchase tickets and enter the sta-dium grounds until they head home-is paramount. His mission is to put smiles on fans’ faces as they leave a ballpark, whether the team has won or lost. It’s not about meeting their expectations; it’s about exceeding them.
Peter is one of the best-known owners in minor league baseball. He served two terms as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the governing body of minor league baseball and chaired its Finance and double-A expansion committees. He also served as a member of the 14-person Professional Baseball Executive Committee that governed Major League/Minor League Baseball in the absence of a commissioner following the departure of Commissioner Fay Vincent in 1993. He has consulted with numerous Ma-jor League and minor league clubs and for communities worldwide seeking to obtain minor league teams.
Peter holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a law degree from George Washington University. He has served on the boards of the Maryland State Special Olympics and the Babe Ruth Museum. He also has experience in commercial real estate development and public transportation prior to his involve-ment in baseball.
He resides in Annapolis, Md., with his wife Louise, two of his four children and their golden retriever.
Jon DanosPartner, President and Chief Operating Officer
Since graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1990, Jon Danos has made a steady climb to the forefront of the minor league baseball indus-try, a rise that has led to his being named the President of Keystone Baseball, LLC in April, 2003. He is now one of the partners in ODP.
Danos was hired by sister company Maryland Baseball, LLC, as a group sales manager with the Frederick (MD) Keys in 1990. He quickly established himself as a leader both in sales and customer service, abilities which were quickly no-ticed by his superiors. This led to his being named assistant general manager of Maryland Baseball’s next venture, the Class AA Bowie Baysox, in February, 1993. Two and one-half years later, as Maryland Baseball continued to expand, Danos took over the reigns as GM.
Under Danos, the Baysox continued to thrive, winning the coveted Bob Freitas award as the top AA organization in 1998, Bowie’s first year of eligibility. The following year, he was named the Eastern League’s top executive, and, in 2000, put together an effort that attracted 14,000 fans to an incredibly suc-cessful AA All-Star Game played in Bowie.
Since his arrival in Lancaster, Danos has overseen the construction of Clipper Magazine Stadium, the assemblage of the main front office staff, the naming rights and the leasing of skyboxes. He also oversees the other major projects of Opening Day Partners, including the Camden RIversharks, the construction of Sovereign Bank Stadium in York, PA, the operation of the York Revolution and the next project, Regency Furniture Stadium in Charles County, MD.
He lives in Lancaster County, Pa., with his wife, Laura, twins Christopher and Luca and daughter Ava.

About Campbell’s Field
Quick Stats:Name: Campbell’s Field
Construction Completed: May 11, 2001Seating Capacity: 6,425
Opening its doors in May of 2001, Campbell’s Field has quickly become one of the premier minor league baseball stadiums in the country. Honored as “Ballpark of the Year” in 2003 by Digitalballparks.com, and in 2004 by Baseball America, the home of the Camden Riversharks is a 6,500-seat stadium situated along the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey. Famous for its unbeatable view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Philadelphia skyline, Campbell’s Field provides the entire Delaware Valley with family friendly entertainment at an affordable price.
The numerous concourse attractions at Campbell’s Field make it the perfect place to take in a baseball game with the family. The rock climbing wall and bounc-ing inflatables in the United Way Fit and Fun Zone are non-stop fun for children, and Campbell’s Field even has its very own carousel. Host a birthday party at the ballpark, and your children may never want to leave.
Campbell’s Field is also a great place to host large parties and business outings. With 20 luxury suites and over 400 club level seats, the ballpark can accom-modate groups of all sizes. Executive Suites are ideal for groups up to 25 people, while the Bridge and Skyline suites can accommodate up to 60 guests. If you’re looking for something a little more upscale, the Diamond Café is the ultimate club atmosphere, providing exotic buffet options and full bar service for up to 200 people. And if you’re in the mood for something a little different, try the Olde City Barbeque at the Taylor Rental Tent - a tented seating area for up to 300 guests, where you can enjoy a 2-hour, all-you-can-eat buffet, from right on top of the action!
