Box 818 Alexandria, VA 22313 Dear Elleen: Enclosed 1s the sample data package for Case 2427 received by Cambridge Analytical Associates under Contract No. 68-01-6808 (Inorganics Analysis), on February 21, 1984. ' Problems Encountered • 1. Procedural .blanks showed presence of contamination for tin (Sn) at concentrations (20>21 ug/1) slightly above the contract required detection Unit. The source of the blank was apparently the hydrogen peroxide used for digestion. We recognize that certain vendors stabilize .hydrogen peroxide with Sn confounds and have attempted to avoid use of stabilized reagents when performing Sn analyses. Me will continue to Investigate sources of hydrogen peroxide of suitable purity for these determinants. 2. No other problems were encountered during the analyses. • I apologize for the delay 1n forwarding this package to you. Please call If you have any questions. Sincerely, Keith A.
