Teaming members before the
Caterpillars arrive Sat morning.
Also in August 7-8-9-10 there also is a Boys Flight at Camp Asbury, I need men to help serve dinner to the Team on August 7 before the flight cater-
pillars arrive Sat morning.
I am also sure that there is still room at "The Big House" for volunteers to come, stay, and help, especially past flight But-

72 HOUR PRAYER VIGIL
Do you remember when they brought out the Prayer Vigil sign-up at your Walk/Flight and the feeling of awe that you had that so many people had been praying for you all weekend? Well it is now time for you to go to http://www.3dayol.org/Vigil/GetComm.phtml and sign-up for the Western New York Boys and Girls Flights for the Chrysalis Weekends in July and August. If you do not have a computer and would like to sign up give me (Cheryl Isaman 716-372-4159, evenings are best) a call and I will put your name on the sign-up. Also, if you have other Agape for the weekend let Lisa Wickens or I know and we will make ar-rangements to get it from you for the weekend.

Please consider coming to Big House and joining
in the fun we will be having. I foresee a lot of fun and a lot of work being accomplished. You do
not have to commit to the whole weekend. If you can only come for a couple hours, we would love to have you
too. We will have a camp fire weather permitting, making agape for upcoming flights, singing, going on a nature scavenger hunt, enjoying God's creation on the deck on the lake, having bible studies, and
watching our friendships grow. You will also have an opportunity to fish in Silver Lake. Please let me know no later than Monday, July 1 if
you are coming to Big House. It does cost to stay at Big House and
also costs for meals. Please feel free to email me with any questions at
Just a small message from your Chrysalis Treasurers. We think we don’t
ever have anything to say in the newsletter because all we do is take in money and pay bills and report to the Chrysalis Board. God has spoken
through our Rainbow Connection editor-in-chief to lovingly remind us that EVERYONE in the Emmaus/Chrysalis Leadership and in the Community has
an evangelism role in recruiting Pilgrims for Walks and Caterpillars for Flights. That means staying closely linked to one another, Community and leadership, through our greatest means, the Rainbow Connection. Out of
our love for Emmaus/Chrysalis, we want to encourage you to be making a list of possible Caterpillars. Pray over those lists and pray some
more. Then watch the Rainbow for the registration deadlines. Please re-member that you don’t have to wait for the deadline. Your Chrysalis regis-
trar will accept your forms anytime and then keep us busy depositing your checks, so whatever you do, PLEASE put us to work! Blessings & Love,

Jessica and I look forward to getting out to the different gathering to visiting everyone. There is still time for signing up on the Prayer Vigil for the Men's and Women's walks. We will be needing to get Place Mats and Napkins for the up coming walks. It is never to soon to start. You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I
thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1

Wow! It looks like summer is here! (sort of)
And with summer comes our annual picnic. This year it will be hosted by the Springville
Gathering at the Springville UMC, on July 18, from noon ‘til 3. Springville will provide bur-
gers and dogs, a shelter and access to the hall if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Bring your
nametag, a dish to pass, table settings, outdoor chairs, your singing voices and musical instru-
ments if you wish to share, and join us for an
afternoon of fun and fellowship. See you there!
Directions to Springville UMC: From most areas, take I-90 or I-86 to US 219, exit Rt 39 E,
to Springville. Continue through the village, church is on the left side of Rt 39, just pas

far.
From points east, take Rt 39 to Springville,

Fourth Day Chair
I have been truly blessed by this opportunity of serving as Lay Director for the Women’s Walk to Emmaus #48.
This experience has been more than I could ever imagined. God gave me this amazing team that had to constantly change and convert and rearrange …. and then they willingly went with the flow without complaint. I could never have done this walk with-out each one of you. I had the best Bellringer ever! She’s a true Bell-ringer. She kept us on time, at all times, by giving us only little itty bitty baby breaks, but sometimes we had just a baby break and if we were a head of time we got medium breaks. One time when she announced a baby break, Brian told her the baby was triplets.
The pilgrims totally blessed me each day as I watched them listen and absorb all of the talks. The creative posters, songs, skits, poems and prayers that they made so impressed me. I couldn’t wait for the community to hear them sing. I felt I had surly died and went to heaven and choirs of angels were singing to me.
So what did this walk mean to me? It was just like every other walk that I’ve been on. The Best one ever!
I just want to say thank you to everyone for this beautiful gift of allowing me to be your Lay Director. DeColores!
