HAZARD NNUMBE
AND EVEL OF RISK
MAIN RISKS IDENTIFIED
(Describe the risks and the people affected, State if you consider them to be high (H),
medium (M) or low (L) before any controls are
introduced)
CONTROLS TO MINIMISE RISKDescribe the controls you intend to introduce to and
indicate the risk state after control initiatives are introduced. i.e. (H/M/L) Ensure person responsible for raking action in the control procedure are named and a
copy of this assessment is given to them.
11 (M) Fatigue/ long hours/ Filming will take place between 1pm and 4.30pm, which
physical exertion is seemingly not long but because actors will perform high level body performance; they can get physically
exerted and dehydrated.17 (M) General public The film is taking place in a busy market square.
Therefore actors have to be aware of the safety of their belongings.
Actors also have to be aware of the safety of the general public while performing.
38 (H) Stunts/ dangerous activities
Actors will perform many dangerous stunts and activities; while performing they are responsible for their own health and safety. The company is not responsible to
compensate actors in case of any injury.39 (M) Technical facilities
(handhelds/ camera cables/ camera
movements/ jimmy jib/ special cable runs/
scanners/ PSC/ OB's etc
Sony Handycam & Lumix dmc-g5 is being used. Camera is provided by Samuel Ward Academy.
All performances will be rehearsed beforehand to reduce the possibility of accidents. However because so many dangerous stunts and activities are taking place while
performing risk is still at a medium level.
40 (M) Vehicles A member of the crew will watch out for vehicles coming but actors are responsible for their own safety
while filming. Vehicle risk is at a medium level because filming will take place on the side of busy roads and actors will have to cross roads as well while filming.
