A New Breed is Born
As you read through this issue of The OGM, you will notice many changes. Changes that will impact how you grasp and engage with the content in our magazine. It is our goal, to shift how we convey your reader experience. In today’s world, we are constantly being inundated with news, information and stories both online and in print, but now we have a choice of what to read and when to read it. Information is so readily available, but it’s how we engage with this information that makes it qualitative. Taking all this into consideration, The OGM is ready to make a leap into a new paradigm of visual content. You won’t find dense, technical information here. Rather we’re creating editorial that can be read the world over. Content that is so engaging that you can’t put the story down. Content that’s about people, real people overcoming real challenges and innovating in whole new ways. We serve to bridge the gap between what media has done for past decades, and now what the Millennial Generation perceives as norm. We are committed to stand as a voice, providing information and opinion for a new generation, but strategically conveying information through the experience and wisdom from the senior leaders of our industry. Educating, engaging and entertaining you is what we love to do and we are taking it on with a vengeance so this is a warning - what you are about to embark on will forever serve you in new and unparalleled ways.
Standing for Change!

THEOGM
About 20 years ago, I asked myself, “Who has the most influence and power on the planet?” The answer that came to me was the media and the energy industry. I then asked myself, “How could we take these two industries and make the world a better place?” The answer followed that with a responsible media and a sustainable mindset, we could do anything. Then I asked, “If we could do anything, what would that anything look like?” The reply was that we could live with care for our people and planet, to ensure a prosperous future for our kids, to eliminate hunger, to vanquish wars and to unite people with creative collaboration. I could imagine a united world with people connected and all the old stigmas of race, color and creed just fading away. And then I said, “Now, Tina Olivero, do you really think you can make a difference with that?” A part of me wanted to say no and go hide in a corner, but a much bigger part of me said yes, that’s a game worth committing your life to, Ms. Olivero! So here it is, The Oil and Gas Magazine committed to bringing down geographic barriers with the help of technology and responsible communication. Our team works daily to produce content that focuses on what’s possible and what’s positive—fostering understanding among people, particularly, those of influence in energy nations. Our content is focused on creating global energy solutions with sustainable, healthy environmental solutions in mind. With over 40 energy conferences world-wide, we are bringing people together with common goals and outcomes that truly make a difference.
We’re taking pride in eliminating the negative by working together. Let’s put energy into stamping out hunger, sickness, war, isolation and poverty in the world. For us, it’s all in a day’s work. Empowering people, cities and countries to create their own powerful and sustainable energy—inside and out! We warmly invite you to join us in any and every way you can!
