DC Apprenticeship Week is the District’s celebration of business, labor, education and other workforce partners that support the District’s Apprenticeship Program.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2017 • 2PM – 4PMApprenticeship Works for Government Department of Public Works Site Visit (w/Department of Labor) DPW will demonstrate how apprenticeships can fill the talent pipeline for government agencies.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 9AM – 2PMApprenticeship Works for Youth
Apprenticeship DC Symposium (panel discussion w/ industry leaders) DOES and University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will host an apprenticeship panel to discuss what makes apprenticeship-related strategies valuable for businesses to recruit and retain skilled workers.
Youth Apprenticeship Fair (w/consortium of building trades) – (10am-2pm)DOES will partner with local trade unions to showcase post-secondary career pathways.
