FROM THE PRINCIPAL...

Dear school families,

As we come to the close of Term 1, I would like to thank you for your contribution to our school life. Staff has had many conversations with you throughout the school year about your child’s learning.

CHAPLAINS NEWS...

Roman Emperor Marcus Arelius stated ‘Our life is what out thoughts make it’. With this quote running through my mind I glanced over and saw that my lolly jar was on its final few. As the day went on the jar progressed to empty. And it was then it dawned on me… whatever I put in my lolly jar is what I take out! Simple yet profound, I began to question what do I put in my life? And what is it I am drawing out? And further still what are others receiving from me? Isn’t it interesting that the statement Marcus Arelius expounded all those years ago is an age old wisdom … a positive life starts with a positive thought! And we all know the power to change begins in a single thought, after all the brain are only muscles which named itself.

Y

YEAR 9 HIKE

Whether the hike was ‘endured’ or ‘enjoyed’, depending on who you spoke too, we were very pleased to welcome them home last Tuesday! Enjoy the comments from them below!

“Never give up”

“best day ever”

“stay positive”

“one foot in front of the other, that’s all it takes”

“you just have to keep on going, you’ll get there”

“its not about the destination, its the journey”
