Caldwell University Athletic Training Information
The Caldwell University Athletic Training Staff is dedicated to providing the
highest quality medical care to both our athletes, and those of visiting teams. To
ensure quality coverage a Certified Athletic Trainer will be in attendance at all
home athletic events.
The Athletic Training Room is located in the George R. Newman Center behind
the gymnasium and will be open approximately two hours prior to the start and 30
minutes after any contest.
For your convenience, the following will be provided to each team:
Water and cups
Ice and ice bags
Crutches, splints & AED
Emergency Supplies and Equipment will be available as needed
Available modalities:
Game Ready
Electric stimulation
Ultrasound
Moist heat packs
Cold Whirlpool
The CU Athletic Training Staff will be available to assist you and your team
during your visit. Teams that are traveling with an ATC are welcome to use the
athletic training facilities as needed. If your team will be traveling without an
athletic trainer, please notify a member of the staff at least 24 hours prior to your
team’s travel. A letter/treatment request form from your athletic trainer must
accompany the athlete, plus all necessary supplies so that we may assist your team
properly.
