3 Core competencies | ABB Cable accessories 12-145 kV
We can provide full series of cable accessories including cold shrink cable termination and joint, 250 A and 630 A screened separable cable connector and GIS plug-in cable termination.
The cold-shrink cable accessories are using elastic memory of the silicon rubber and advanced expanding technology. The rubber will be preexpanded within the elastic range and put it through the supporting bar. When install the product, extract the supporting spiral core, the rubber will shrink and attach tightly onto the cable.
CSE-B Robotics production process JS-A Production process
Screened separable cable connector can be combined flexibly to satisfy two ways or multiple ways cable connection. It also can be connected with rear parallel surge arrester. The installation procedure is convenient. Full automation production is achieved by advanced injection machine and robotics technology.

Features■ Cold shrink cable termination is made of liquid silicone
rubber and is aging, UV, humid, tracking and erosion resistant. High elasticity and ability to shrink ensure powerful and constant active pressure between rubber and cable that can respond to expanding or shrinking cable diameters under load cycle.
■ The geometrical field control in stress cone is integrated with termination body, effectively distribute the high electrical stress in the cable screens stripping position.

Features■ Cold shrink joint body is made of liquid silicone rubber with
hydrophobic performance and is erosion resistant. High elasticity and ability to shrink ensure powerful and constant active pressure between rubber and cable that can respond to expanding or shrinking cable diameters under load cycle.
■ Stress relief cone, insulation and conductive layers are premolded together as one-piece design requiring no installation tools. This resolves issues like poor bonding between separate layers and ensures safe operation.
■ Unique mulit-layer waterproof structure. Waterproof armoring tape and resin outer jacket solutions are available.

1 . Joint bodyThe joint bodies have premolded one-piece design, with a mold-injected outer semi-conductive shielding layer of 6mm thickness. The raw material, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), enables a more compact structure. Different joint body sizes are designed to fit cables with different cross-section area, to ensure optimal interface pressure between joint bodies and cables, as well as the excellent electrical and insulation performance.
Straight joint and Insulated joint share the same joint body design.

4 . Filling materialThe joint is filled with environmental friendly and flame retardant filling compounds, which have excellent insulation, thermal conductive and flame-retardant properties.
5 . Outer water-proof protectionExcellent water-proof performance is guaranteed by a copper casing with premolded insulating coating (fiberglass casing is optional) filled with adhesive compound, and oversheathed by waterproof tapes and heat shrink tubes.
The outer protection is tested according to GB/ T 11017.
