Safety cabinetsWhen hazardous substances are stored in working spaces, the substances to be stored must be considered according to their properties, e.g. flammable, toxic, caustic or water polluting. According to TRbF 20 No. 5, it is not permitted to store flammable liquids in working spaces. Non-registerable amounts stored in so-called safety cabinets in accordance with DIN EN 14470-1 and TRbF 20 Annex L are exempt from this.DÜPERTHAL offers a complete cabinet range for the stor-age of hazardous substances. The cabinets comply with the current version of relevant standards and facilitate storage directly in the work room (without approval pro-cedures by the building inspectorate) in connection with economy and the required safety of the operator.

Operating conditions according to TRbF 20 Annex L Safety cabinets according to DIN EN 14470-1 and TRbF 20 annex L should be connected to a suit-able venting system which leads to a safe place in the open. 10-fold air exchange must take place in the cabinet and the pressure drop may not exceed 1.5 mbar (150 Pa).

Manufacturing controlsEach cabinet is tested for perfect quality and function during the assembly process and before delivery. Pro-duction is regularly monitored, checked and assessed within the scope of our quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. Apart from our own in-house checks, production of the safety cabinets is also monitored by accredited inspection bodies. All details of the series product are checked to ensure they are the same as the tested type.

PP tray insert

Clearly arranged storage with optimum use of space.

Containers can be placed in and removed from the cabinet with both hands, from the side or from above. Draw shelf can be locked in each position, with self-closure in case of fire.

Easy-moving pull-out trays, can be effortlessly used.

Waste materials are safely collected in the pull-out waste disposal tray.

In case of fire, a thermocouple triggers the closure control sys-tem. The pull-out trays are with-drawn into the cabinet and then the doors are closed. This prevent the risk of pull-out trays and doors jamming (DBGM protected).

CLASSIC - Vario safety cabinets

A thermal monitoring system closes the opened doors in case of fire.

When the doors close, the con-tainers are moved back into the cabinet by an intelligent closing mechanism.

On opening the easy-moving doors the containers move towards you, ready to hand, for the ideal storage of small containers.

Doors with standard integrated arrest system, meaning that containers can be placed in and removed from the cabinet with both hands.

Optimum use of space and increased storage capacity due to variable interior arrange-ment.

Vario shelves can be flexibly in-serted in a vertical (height) grid of 40 mm, individually inside the cabinet and on the door.
