Below is a listing of the upcoming trainings for FY 2017-18 by region. Each is broken into two days: one covering PG|PC topics and the other PA topics. All trainings are from 9:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch break each day. Rm. 1B) • Central Regional Training: June 19-20, 2018 at the Madera County Dept. of Social Services - 700 Yosemite Ave, Madera | CA 93638 Information & Registration at http://capapgpc.org/events/event-calendar CA PA|PG|PC is offering a series of Regional trainings for members and partners throughout California made possible by grant dollars from the CA Dept. of Social Services The PA regional boot camps are designed to provide an overview of PA laws, codes and responsibilities including: the decision to take on a case, searching for assets, and the process for probating an Estate. It also provides a discussion on public ethics including aspects of fiduciary duty and ethical dilemmas. PA TRAININGS The PG|PC regional boot camps are designed to provide a general overview of the following: criteria for establishing a Conservatorship; powers, authorities, and legal aspects of filing petitions; managing client's care and estate assets; a review of basic public benefit programs; and documentation best practices.
