3. BRAKO JIEL - Third in his only outing at this track which came last Summer. Disappointed at Amiens last time out but was in decent form before that. Place claims today

4. DON JUAN DU HOULEY - Goes barefoot again today and considering that he was a noteworthy victor in his last two at Caen and Le Mont-Saint-Michel, he looks a lively contender here

5. CARAT DU GOUTIER - Tough type that was a fair seventh at Enghien last time out and did not enjoy the best of trips at Laval before that. Otherwise in fine form and must be taken seriously

6. BLUFF - Useful thoroughbred in both specialties. Fair fourth in a mounted race here last time out after two disqualifications under harness. Could surprise a few

7. DAUPHIN DU PRE - A winner at Maure-de-Bretagne in May he was a good third behind Denzo Montaval at Caen later that month. Disqualified in two of his last three. All or nothing

8. DIVINE DI LEONE - Her last win came in August of 2018 at this track. Has been in fair form lately, runner up at Angers and Rouen-Mauquenchy and a fair fourth at Enghien. Chance

9. AU NID DE GASSARD - Good winner at the beginning of June in Saint-Malo, he then placed third behind Cats de la Ferme in a good lot at Rouen-Mauquenchy. In good form and entrusted to A. Abrivard, he has a chance

10. BARON DE L'ORMERIE - Made a late start in May when fifth at Dozule before winning last time out at Saint-Malo. May not be quite ready for this according to his mentor but could sneak a place

11. BORCINA DE VIETTE - Has been a little disappointing lately but she doesn’t lack quality: placed in a couple of quintes at Vincennes back in 2017. Will need to improve on recent form though

12. BENURO D'AUVILLIER - After a few disappointing efforts, he returned to form when sixth at Vichy last month before winning a quinte at Enghien on July 3rd. Should be competitive again today

13. DONUTS DELADOU - Lacks consistency. A winner at Caen on March 4th but has struggled in all of his other seven starts so far this year. Hard to recommend here on that evidence

14. BALADE MAJYC - She was a winner at Vincennes in January and had a few fair efforts in the spring but has been disappointing ever since. Decent enough on her day but faces a tough task here

15. ACTION DU CHATELET - Hardy trotter that always gives her best but was unseen for ten months before finishing fifth at Saint-Omer in April. Off again since then and will likely need the outing today

16. ABSOLUE VERITE - She started the year well when finishing fourth at Vincennes. Unplaced in all four of her starts since then and will need to show a big improvement today. Big outsider
