Lounging in the open air while enjoying the very best high-end sound and vision under the sun – or the stars - is now possible at the push of a single button.

Creating the C SEED 201, Porsche Design has defined a new product category, introducing the world’s first outdoor LED TV that makes a memorable grand entrance: The ground opens. A mon-umental black column rises up to first floor height. On its top an LED screen unfolds to a stunning, five-meter wide, dazzlingly bright display.

This is the Porsche Design C SEED 201 - an object lesson in minimalistic design elegance, a style icon with

an impact across genera-tions and the proud winner of one of the world’s most prestigious industry trophies, the Red Dot Design Award.

Not stopping for even a mo-ment’s to rest on its laurels, the team that developed the 201 has moved on to define the ultimate outdoor sound experience by joining forces with the audio specialists of L-Acoustics.

C SEED 125 At the touch of a smartphone or tablet screen button, the C SEED 125 loudspeakers rise out of the ground, providing superior sound to round off perfect days, complement beautiful surroundings and entertain guests at garden parties.

The C SEED 125 loudspeakers are the last word in open-air sound brilliance - a system of passive speakers for configurations ranging from 2.0 stereo to 9.1 surround.

L-Acoustics passive speaker technology reproduces the entire frequency range with amazing and powerful brilliance. Each speaker projects a 110 degree beam

angle, enabling the system to cover even large scale terraces while providing a thoroughly solid, stable sound experience.

With the flush mount option, the C SEED 125 speakers merge with their surround-ings to show a flat, uniform surface when not in use. This version allows seamless integration into decks made of stone, concrete or wood and enables unrestricted combinations of both the architect s conceptual idea

for minimalistic design and the idea of the composer whose music is released in incredible brilliance by the elevated speakers.

C SEED 125 THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

POWERED BY L-ACOUSTICS

The name C SEED 125 refers to the peak speaker power, expressed in “decibel sound pressure”, the professional audio industry s inter- nationally accepted measure of sonic performance.

Does this sound a bit ab-stract? Well, 125 decibels translate, for all practical purposes, into “loud enough for anything one will ever want to hear”: As a matter of fact, this is the sound pressure experienced by the audience of an AC/DC live concert or in close vicinity

to a motorcycle gang on big block V-twin bikes.

It is therefore a safe as-sumption that the C SEED 125 has sufficient power reserves to entertain even seriously partying capacity crowds by the poolside. On the other hand, it is worth noting that even at very conservative volumes, the system is capable of unpar-alleled sound projection at angles wide enough to cover large terraces and gardens.

These are genuine high-end speakers, built to faithfully reproduce every last nuance

of a beautiful violin solo or the rich texture of a great movie soundtrack, even on windy days. For massive per-formance, they are built into one-piece metal casings, precision-machined out of massive blocks of aluminum. This provides the ultimate resonating body which makes the most of every single note, from delicate piano passages to screaming guitar riffs.

Projecting sound is an art in itself, and sounding great in open air environments takes an extra amount of genius. The heart of the C SEED 125 was created by masters of outdoor speaker engineering.

L-Acoustics earned their global fame by bringing superior sound to fabulous festivals, memorable mega- events and unforgettable parties, including Olympic Games opening ceremonies, Superbowl shows, opera arenas and Broadway productions.

The C SEED 125 is beautiful - and also very smart: Every single speaker is fitted with an on-board computer. It can receive audio signals via streaming protocols, operate as a network client and act as a WLAN hotspot. It receives remote control instructions from either the intuitive C SEED smartphone app with its graphical user interface or from LAN-connected notebook or desktop PCs. An equalizer for fine tuning is part of the embedded audio control.
