AMELIA EARHARTAmelia Earhart and her sister were raised to think that they could do anything boys could do.
In 1921, Amelia Earhart became a licensed pilot.
She became the first female to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.
During her attempt to fly around the world at the equator, Amelia Earhart’s plane disappeared and was never found.
The mystery of what happened to Amelia Earhart continues today and there have been many theories.

AMELIA EARHART“Please know that I am aware of the
hazards. I want to do it because I want to do it. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they
fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others.”
