My background includes many years in

corporate marketing which has refined my

use of clean design by executing atten-

tiveness to smart layout. My use of style

and table of contents ensure efficiency and

consistency in overall flow and format-

ting. Web and interactive projects have

been the result of a natural transition from my

technical and design talents. In keeping my skills

current, I recently completed advanced courses in

InDesign and Photoshop as well as Dreamweaver

and WordPress. I do not allow myself to grow

bored. Currently I am focusing on strengthening

my interactive design abilities.

I have been using computers for almost 27 years and I have gained an excellent knowledge in the areas of design for both print and web. I am ambitious, imaginative and thrive in innovative fast-paced environments. My major strengths are my adaptability and curiosity. Adobe InDesignI love InDesign, my preferred application when it comes to laying out a single page to multi-

chapter interactive books.

Adobe IllustratorAlthough I am more comfortable with pixels rather than vectors, I have had plenty of experience creating logos and other vector

art with Illustrator.

Adobe PhotoshopI have been using Photoshop since 1998 and consider myself to be an extremely knowledgeable user of this fantastic robust tool. I use Photoshop for retouching and manipulating photos as well as creating wireframe layouts for

most of my web designs.

Adobe DreamweaverI’ve used a range of HTML authoring sof tware but Dreamweaver has been my favorite for years. When necessary I can also handcode.

CSS is also a strength of mine.

WordPressWordPress, with its ability to utilize plug-ins, widgets and themes, is my tool of choice when creating rich content

management systems.

Adobe Acrobat ProI’ve designed rich interactive forms using Adobe Acrobat. I’ve organized multi-chapter proposals with bookmarks,

hyperlinks and interactivity.

Microsoft OfficeWhen I recognized the need for colleagues to utilize their Microsoft tools more efficiently, I took the initiative to develop and teach classes in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

I have extensive knowledge of many software applications and am comfortable

in both Mac and PC platforms. I have a comprehensive understanding of design

process, from conceptualization and brainstorming to a meticulous eye for

detail in final stages. I am knowledgeable of typography, color theory, print
