Platform The platform I will use for my implementation plan is

Microsoft Office. Each student within Cherokee County is provided with their own Office 365 account. Students are able to access their account through any device that has web capabilities. Additionally, students can download the

Office 365 app for free to any device. This platform provides all students with collaboration services, communication

tools, and mobile, desktop, and web-based applications, as well as data storage capabilities.

Student AccommodationsStudents who do not have access to their own device (smart

phones, tablets, etc.) will be able to access any BYOD activities implemented by using a classroom desktop or

laptop computer.

Student Grouping• Student usage of BYOD will vary based on the nature of the activity and/or assignment

being implemented. Students will be provided with ample opportunities to work in pairs, groups, and individually.

• Examples: - Pair Tasks: Students will watch a Brainpop segment summarizing who Mohandas

Gandhi was, his impact, and beliefs. After the video, students will complete the review quiz with a partner using QuizsSocket. Students will be able to discuss and work through each question with their shoulder partner.

- Individual Tasks: Students will locate and read various Mohandas Gandhi’s biography using their mobile devices. After researching Gandhi, students will then response to the constructed response question using Kidblog.

- Group Tasks: In their assigned groups, students will create a live broadcast to depict an event of their choice pertaining to Gandhi’s strive for independence in India using Periscope.

learning by implementing photos and videos of their written work, or by importing digital creations. Every assessment is organized in

one place and is accessible to teachers from any device.

they may also publish their work to a class blog.
