• Bullying that takes place using electronic technology.• Text messages and rumors sent by email or posted on
social media sites.• Embarrassing photos/videos, websites, or fake profiles
post on a social media site.• When someone threatened, harassed, humiliated,
embarrassed or targeted by another child.

• Pretend to be other people online to trick others.• Post picture of victims without their permission.• Send or forward mean text messages.• Trick people into revealing personal information.• Spread lies and rumors about victims.• Do it for entertainment

• Block communication with cyberbully.• Delete messaged without reading them.• Talk to a friend about the bullying.• Report the problem to an internet service provider.• Talk to an adult about the bullying.• You can report it to the police if it gets really bad.

• If you seek help, cyberbullying can be stopped.• Tracking the cyberbullies• Police investigation • Make copies or everything with the date, time and any
other information that you can find.• If it is a life threatening message you need to contact the

• Amanda Todd’s story is an example of how big of an impact cyberbullying has on an individual
• She met a man online who told her to flash, he was very persistent so she gave in
• Later on, the photos went public and everyone saw it • She was tormented, bullied and harassed online and at
school• She was bullied for months on end, and the man wouldn‘t
leave her alone• Amanda couldn‘t take it anymore and took her own life

• Educate people about cyberbullying• Talk about and promote the positive uses of technology• Be the change • Talk with community leaders about cyberbullying
workshops• Educate people on reporting cyberbullying immediately
