Tartarus was the deepest region of the Underworld that it was said that it took nine days and nine nights for an anvil to fall from the earth surface to the very bottom of Tartarus.

Only the most horrible mortals were punished in Tartarus.

can make him invisible

It is said Styx winds around Hades nine times

This river was so respected by Greek gods, that they took oaths by mentioning its name

Ferryman of the Underworld River Only duty was to escort shades across

the rive of Styx. Often described as ancient looking man

dressed in loincloth Only required one coin from each shade

to cross the river.
