Activities1. Students put on actual clothing items as the story is told. 2. Students create an illustration of what I wear in the snow.3. Students retell the story with a stick puppet and felt clothing.

Students dress the puppet with the felt clothing as the story is told. The puppet and clothing can be created from models at www.makinglearningfun.com

4. Create vocabulary cards for retelling the story. The picture/word vocabulary cards can be printed from www.makinglearningfun.com Students sequence the story with the picture/word vocabulary cards.

5. Print out key words on one inch blocks from the website www.makinglearningfun.com Have students place the tiles over the letters to spell the words from the story. Key words: jacket, zipper, scarf, mittens, tears, mother.

6. Match colored clothing items from the story to shadow pages inside a file folder. Print out the shadow pages and paste on the inside of a file folder.
